Android app
Install the NeetShelf app and run Mihon-compatible extensions on your phone.
The NeetShelf app for Android is the full NeetShelf, plus an engine that runs Mihon-compatible extensions (the APK extensions Mihon and Tachiyomi use) on your phone. Sources load from your own connection, never through NeetShelf's servers. Your library, progress and Premium come from your account as usual.
Install
- On your phone, open neetshelf.app/download and tap Download APK.
- Open the downloaded file from the notification or your Downloads folder.
- If Android says your browser is not allowed to install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.
- Tap Install. If Google Play Protect asks about an unknown app, choose Install anyway: the app is not on the Play Store, so Play has not scanned it.
Open NeetShelf and tap Continue with Google. Google does not allow signing in inside apps that show web pages, so a browser tab opens for the sign-in; when it finishes you are taken back to the app, signed in. If you stay in the browser, tap Open NeetShelf app.
Add a repository and install extensions
- Open Settings → Local server (in the app it is called Extensions on this device).
- Paste the URL of a Mihon extension repository you trust and tap Add. The app asks you to confirm in a system dialog: extensions from the repository will run on your phone.
- Go to Browse → Extensions. The Local server section lists the repository's extensions; tap Install on the ones you want.
- Your new sources appear under Browse → Sources, marked Local server.
NeetShelf does not provide or recommend repositories. The app only installs an extension when its signature matches the key its repository publishes, and updates must come from the same key.
Updates
Extension updates show in Browse → Extensions with an Update button. To update the app itself, download the newer APK from the Download page and install it over the old one; your data stays.
Cloudflare and age checks
Some sites ask for a browser check first. When a source shows one, open its help and choose to open the site: it opens inside the app, you pass the check once, and the source works again.
Full screen
The app has no browser bars. In the reader, the Fullscreen button hides the system bars as well.
Uninstall
Uninstall NeetShelf like any app. Your library and progress stay in your account; installed extensions are removed with the app.
